Capstone

At Quinnipiac University senior film majors have the choice of writing a screenplay or creating a short 15 minute film. I was given the opportunity to be 1st Assistant Director for the short film "The Irish and The Italian." My role required me to scout and book locations, sit in on casting calls, schedule the entire production, as well as other responsibilities.

"The Irish and The Italian" is based off of a true story that takes places in 1950s Charlestown, Massachusetts. Vincent "Vinny" Ciampa is a local bar owner who runs into trouble with the Irish mob in town. He struggles being a single father with two daughters while trying to survive as an Italian man in an Irish dominated town.
