My name is Alyssa Baker and I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television, and Media Arts and a Minor in Sociology. I was inducted into Lambda Pi Beta, which is the National Communications Honor Society. I am currently  searching for work in the entertainment industry as a media professional. I have a passion for everything related to film and television and aspire to be a director one day. My goal is to showcase stories highlighting all forms of diversity to make modern media more inclusive.

I'm a native New Yorker, born and raised in Manhattan and welcome any opportunities in New York. I have been creative my entire life. I grew up singing, dancing, acting, drawing, and playing piano. Dance has been my most serious passion as I have danced since I was 2 years-old. I went to Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and the Performing Arts and studied dance. I continued my passion at Quinnipiac where I danced all four years and worked my way up to being President.

After working in Los Angeles for the spring semester of my junior year it reassured my love for the entertainment industry. Then senior year, I had the opportunity to be the 1st Assistant Director for my Capstone film. I have acquired valuable skills and I have grown from these experiences.
